Yeah small scrape on a hood (looks like it was just the clear coat, i think it will buff out). I didn't see anything else though. A few hard water spots. I bought some spot remover to fix them later today.

It seems my guess work was right. Called genius today and my car is 193 at port. ( landed 14 th November at Southampton from Barcelona, Hamburg Highway) Delivery to dealership should now be the 22nd Nov. I suppose it has to have PDi then i can check it over.

Man I would love to know what they're doing with my car

Sat at final assembly for 2 weeks and now it's sat at ready for transport for another 2 weeks. I'm assuming PCD has nothing to do with them getting it out of Mexico?

Anyone who's car got dropped off at Newark last Sunday (11:/10) take delivery yet?

My car is still showing "At the Port". Wondering how much longer until it's at the dealer.

I will be taking delivery of my car today, it was at newark on 11/10, it arrived at my dealer in MA friday morning.

I got antsy and called Genius. It's only the 4th time since I put the build in, so I don't think I'm too terribly annoying.

They said my car is scheduled to leave the port today! Hopefully the dealer can get me all the paperwork via email so I can just show up there with a check and have them swap my wheels for my 827Ms and bring it home.

I am in my second week of "Final Assembly". I was thinking I would have the car in December but that may not happen if I get stuck at any of the remaining steps. Just more time to figure out my plans for the car....

Man, my car has been in "final Assembly" since Oct 25th. Hoping it's just a delay in updating the site. Dealer thought i should have the car in December as well.

We must have been on the same ship, mine lands at the dealers this coming Friday 22nd, I'm driving up on the Saturday and dropping off the mphas kit for them to fit and hopefully collecting on the 2nd December to then drop it off @ Topaz to have it covered in ppf.

I'm same spot just 4 days after you oct 29th. Idk why it's taking so long to go from final assembly to the Mexico port... coming up on a month doing what sitting? Anyway after 5 months of waiting I'm finally getting impatient lol.

Hey just wondering how long your car was on the "Quality check" step?
Really hope I can get mine in mid December

I have been sitting on it for about 10 days and when I call genius they say that "the car has completed its final assembly and passed all of the quality checks and is now waiting to be assigned to a carrier"

Today the status went from ready for transport straight to dispatched from factory it seems, skipping awaiting carrier assignment (probably because it's going on a train?), I'm thinking another 2-3 weeks at a minimum but it's getting really close!

That's what I'm hoping for but my luck it's just sitting in a parking lot somewhere too bad the gps locator doesn't work through the app yet lol that would be nice to see

Just got word last night that my car is due at the dealership on Wednesday, PPF and tint scheduled for Friday, pickup Saturday.

Getting really excited. The negative is snow is forecasted for next week. Looks like the break-in period is going to take all winter.

Never gave ppf a thought,perhaps i will just do the front,finding a company you can trust is the main thing. My first job before leaving the dealership is to fit the bottom cooler guard by zunsport. Just in case I'm unlucky and a stone bounces off it. The roads around me are dreadful.

I’ve had this issue with lots of installers and they don’t live up to my expectation, installs really poor with edges lifting and film overlay etc etc, I actually used to fit kits to motorbikes and make crash helmet kits and fit as an hobby so I’m really fussy about detail, this is my first time using Topaz, they are more expensive however there known to be the one of the best in the market.

I was put off a few years back with a wrap company. One a won't mention but they were supposed to be pretty good. While i was in there a guy came in and was arguing that some trim got broken and a few scratches had happened that weren't there before. It put me off and i had issues with my bonnet wrap bubbling. Then i went to a local place and again all the reviews looked good but the actual service was abysmal. Scratched and hair underneath. Never again i thought. The one you said looks top notch but boy is it expensive for the full treatment. If i went i would have to stay in local hotel for a couple of days as nowhere near London. 👍

hey, same thing with mine. I called cus i got impatient yesterday and they said it finished production and its just waiting for a carrier assignment. Mine is skyscraper grey with black rims.

My car on the app still says ready for transport but the genius line says it’s enroute to the port of departure.

It seems the app has a delay.
