Actually, been waiting since end of February (timing of first drop of allocations). Everyone was waiting prior to this time but no opportunity to get anything before the end of February

Same (on the list since last January) but waiting since late February for an allocation at a allocation-less dealer.

I have been on the list since July of last year, same situation, dealership has not received allocation. 😞

May 2021 here, but I also gave our first allocation to a really good client of mine. It will be beneficial in the long run.

Edit, The next individual in line behind me might be granted with their wish this week as I have pretty much decided to wait for a 2024 and see if the additional colors become a reality. ID8.5 might be a nice surprise as well.

Alas no, it requires new hardware, according to BMW. Check out BMWBLOG's ytube video about it.

Side note: AFAIK, BMW has not committed to iDrive 8.5 in the M2. It may not arrive next year. It may not arrive until the LCI, or... ever, I suppose.

Substantial iDrive updates sometimes happen randomly without an LCI. The G80/82 received ID8 without an LCI. Another example, the 2018 F15 X5 received ID6 for the last year of production. So we are unfortunately in a wait and see situation.

Read the above post. It happens more often than not.

Unrelated to the G87, but related to ID8.5. ID hardware changes are coming for the G07 X7 in July. FYI, the 2024 X7 is already in production, SOP 04.23, therefore it will not see a model year change in September.

Did BMW ever disclose what the new colors will be, or just mention there will be new colors on the future?

I apologize if this has been posted previously, but what is the best way to obsess over (aka track) the build process? I am using 'track my BMW', and now have a VIN (at production begins status). Is there a way I can get more detail?

Via your CA, Client Advisor for the most up-to-date information. You are not going to get any more detailed than what stage the vehicle is at during the production process.

More allocations dropped today. Since the totals are changing every day with cars getting sold I have no way of tracking actual numbers. I'm simply looking at all of the PNW dealers and looking for changes.

I know for sure of several dealers that got them, and that mine did not...again...😭

My dealer has 5 allocations coming, not sure the exact details, but if you want shoot me a message and I can forward you the info lol.
