I have aftermarket gloss black side-skirts to go on underneath the stock ones for the final look. That was always the plan because, yeah, I agree it looks incomplete without some color contrast under there. Just waiting a few more days for the paint to cure before I install.
Which side skirts are you going with?

I decided on this style from AUTOID. I think it will look quite nice against the body color rockers.

Usually 3m tape to align and hold it, then plastic blind rivets or screws.
The rocker is easy to remove which makes installing the blade easier.

I had these on my 4 series. While they finish the car nicely, I won’t be fitting them again. All sorts of crap gets into the joint and in Autum even moss will grow in the crease! Real pain to keep clean.

Thoughts on the Dinan exhaust? Could you post any videos. I’m highly considering this but there is not a lot of content about it yet.

I had the dealer do it for a reasonable charge. So, it went well! 😀

Looks - better than the OEM set-up and better than the Dinan tips. I decided not to go for an aftermarket exhaust (I have an Akrapovic on my 992). So it’s a rather inexpensive mod.

Let’s see how they hold up after 10k miles. I kept the OEM. So can switch back if needed.

I have IA quads cf outer shell, blue inside to match my calipers and goldish accents on the inside which has patina'd to a nice shade of thundernight metallic lol. it was a super simple install. If you know how to use a screwdriver, you're 90 percent there. Getting them straight and aligned is up to how ocd you are.

No concerns. Now, weather has been dry and on the warmer side. We’ll see how they handle in snow. These sottozeros are RFT as BMW only sells the wheel packages with RFT. I have avoided RFTs for 10 years. Let’s see if they got better since then.

Installed a dual channel dash camera. The Thinkware U1000. Originally wanted the BMW camera and have the dealer install it. But the dealer wasn’t interested in calling me back. It’s okay, this option was a lot cheaper.

Got all the wires hidden and only broke a few plastic tabs. 🤦
