Buddy Holly was awesome. One of my dear childhood through high school friend's parents were 2 of the original Crickets. We were family friends and would occasionally camp out with their family, and the music around the campfire was unreal. This was mid 70's. I only wish I appreciated it as much then as I do now. My friend, Roger, who took me home from basketball practice every single day our sophomore year because he was 6 months older than me and could, unfortunately died in a light plane crash only a couple months after our our HS graduation. Here's to you, Roger. Will see you again someday.

That is for sure a great album - some songs have jazz undertones. Obviously like all the work he did with The Police.

His next one was quite different and I didn't care for it as much.
