Sunrise is the next ship to get to Altamira - roughly 3 hours from now! I don't know the expected time but I suspect it will be relatively short considering it was in Veracruz for 3 days I can't imagine theres much space left.

Cant make heads or tails of this supply chain. Altimaira has had tons of cargo moving in the last 2 weeks while the earth stood still at Veracruz but still there are ships leaving Veracruz and heading to Altamira. You would think that the sunrise is at max capacity due to the lack of movement in a month from the port but we will see. We can only hope that all of the cars at Veracurz was picked up by the sunrise.

With that being said, BMW doesn't care what happens to the car after it's built because they are already factoring that into their Yearly Sales Number. So unfortunately, end of the year does not speed up production or deliveries Sincerely, a guy who's been in the auto biz for a decade (unwillingly lol) |

Sunrise updated ETA at Brunswick, now Nov 12. Apologies if already posted, haven't been keeping up with the messages.
Edit: looks like xiven already posted . You guys are quick. Edit2: I see a couple of you got on the Sunrise, congrats. I double checked with BMW genius again to see if their system updated since earlier today, but I'm still "in transit to the port", RFT since Oct 1, LoL. I wonder how they're choosing cars to get shipped. Maybe they also have a first in last out queue. Who do we need to buy a corona to get our cars loaded onto a ship Last edited by mtoo; 11-06-2023 at 08:42 PM.. |

I got the 2500 from the port of Altamira program list, and I looked up the total capacity of the Sunrise to deduce the Veracruz number.

Glovis Sunrise is pulling into altamira as I type this...assuming mtoo is correct - we have at least a day there before heading out, more waiting.

Been at the port in New Jersey since Oct 13th.
Pretty sure BMW just won't ship one car to my small town dealer, so I am still tracking ships with you all and hope more cars come in to Jersey soon! |

Woke up this morning and checked my status and it moved from RFT to Awaiting Carrier Assignment! Not showing it's on a ship yet, but at least I've moved out of RFT after being in there for 38 days!
Check your statuses people, there may be some updates in there! Last edited by BimmersAndBoilermakers; 11-07-2023 at 08:49 AM.. |

Now showing awaiting carrier assignment, been RFT since 10/3, that’s gotta mean i got on at Veracruz or am getting on at Altamira right? Genius told me I wasn’t at the port yet and I’m really hoping she was wrong. |
