FINALLY
some movement on my car
went from quality check to final assembly and it took about 10 days in qc and now is waiting to be loaded on to a train to be taken to the port
hopefully doesn't take too long to get down to the port
I am keeping my hopes high for the car to be here by the 3rd week of December

I delivered the mphas kit to the dealers today and had a chance to see my m2. Even tho our 1 series was skyscraper on the m2 this colour works so well, you really need to see it in the flesh, the reflection really shows all its body lines, I was going to add a full carbon kit however I think in this particular color less is more so alpha front lip colour coded and csl boot (trunk) lid.

I ordered an SG '25 yesterday and was also tempted by some exterior carbon bits to match the carbon roof and interior trim on my build -- primarily the M Perf carbon mirror covers. But $2.6k as a port-installed option is frakkin' prohibitive for that -- that's 2/3 the cost of decent forged wheels, which is what those funds will go toward instead after I take delivery in :: knock on wood :: early March -- and, IMHO, Skyscraper Grey helps suppress the need for non-functional exterior CF.

Your pic makes me glad that color came available for '25 - really looking forward to it.

I got an update from my CA this morning.

If you have port accessories, be prepared to wait a bit longer. They got super backed up and are not processing cars with port accessories currently.

After a week of sitting in "Dispatched from Factory" this evening the status shifted to "At the Port" and to my surprise about an hour later shifted to "In Transit". So close! I went ahead and picked up some flow forged 19s and alpin 5s for my winter set which will go on as soon as I receive the car. It's a shame I won't be able to drive it on the stock tires/rims until March~ at the earliest but I'm happy I'll have the car regardless!

Lol I broke out the 5-6% discount thread right there at the desk. Got 2% off the price but paying a giant 799 doc fee.

Is that a Canada thing? cus here in states I think there is no wiggle room on price for most dealers. I did end up getting 1k off due to me ordering the car as a promotion from the dealer.

I just checked the screenshots I took, on the 7th-8th it went from entering assembly -> qc -> final assembly (nov 14) -> dispatched (nov 18) -> at the port (nov 25) -> in transit (nov 25)

I feel like I'm tracking a dominos pizza sometimes I forget it's a whole ass car lol, hopefully you get some movement this week on your tracker
