Today I received an email from AxR letting me know that they are being featured at a wine dinner in Phoenix on 4/23. We opened this tonight to verify whether or not we should attend. Last time this vintage crossed my lips was straight from the barrel, and it was delicious. Keep you posted.

Last September, we visited Alois Lageder Vineyard south of Bozen, italy. Highly recommend if in the area. 🍷

I love Pride Mountain. The setting is just plain gorgeous. Having pizza later, figuring this will go nicely.

Been a while since a good bottle. Went with the Chileans tonight. Clos Apart 2012. 66% Carmenère, 19% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very good, off the beaten path wine.

Picked up a few "reasonably priced" bottles at our local Costco for the Minister of War & Finance.

I'm not much of a wine guy, but she's got a *serious* lust for Pinots and associated reds.

Fixed it. It's sideways because it's too big. I reduced it to 1200X900 from 2133X1600.

Yes...Pride Mountain is an awesome place! I used to have a guy there that would give my family and our visiting friends and family tours there. He once bottled us a rose straight from the tank that they didn't offer to the public because he said it wasn't up to the winery's standards. Which is mind blowing because it was one of the best rose's I have ever had...they used to just give it to the workers as gift bottles. Finished products, I love their Merlot & Viognier the best

Enjoyed a bottle of 2019 The Bard from Realm Cellars along with a filet mignon today. First steak and wine since late January (dental issues) was very enjoyable.

Going to Italy tonight with a tasty Cab Franc from the Bolgheri region of Tuscany. Pairing it with tequila shrimp over Spanish rice. Feeling multicultural.
