No one really knows. If anyone says they know they are just making a guess. So far most stores have not gotten any allocations. Higher volume stores have gotten one. Some of the largest stores have gotten 2. Just about every store got one HEA, which is basically a demo. We should all be seeing the HEAs around April 1.

Personal choice. Personally, I would not pay ADM on any vehicle that I can currently afford so I made sure my dealer was not doing it before putting in my order. And if they backtrack on that, then I'm back to looking for M2C.

Personally, I would find a dealer at MSRP and just wait. The current hysteria will gradually fade. IMO of course.

I think the 'hype' and interest will fade sooner than later. This is not a car that will be built in a small custom number. Its based on the 2 series and they are available used rather quickly. These cars have short ownership histories do many 'M' vehicles.

I would never give a dealer 1 penny more than the car is priced from the maker. Ever. Its not curing cancer, its sitting in traffic, commuting, driving. Nothing else. We should never lose sight of that.

Agree 100% and is a decision every potential owner makes based on his/her family-economic-health etc. situations. Stated previously, to me it’s simply a car, nothing more. There are myriad more important issues in my humble existence.

Matbe reread the original post and mine. I never said his was wrong, I said take it with a grain of salt (meaning just what it it means).

Just a fyi, when someone's "opinion" includes "we" it can easily be construed as more than just the writer's opinion.

My guess is that there are a lot more people paying ADMs than are willing to admit it. If you like the car and see the value then go for it.
