I placed my order on Nov 4 and I'm still at "order received", as in not even scheduled in production yet. I ordered a VB, and I know these typically take longer. Am I still within the expected range?

Ordered Oct 23rd and just went to production begins. Dealer failed to order the carbon fiber roof from my online build. Too late to change. I really wanted that option. No other allocation available from them at this time. Well, crap...

That would suck so bad.

My SA sent me a copy of my order sheet for me to confirm before submitting. They were missing red brake calipers. Brake calipers are not that big of a deal but missing the carbon fiber roof? I would be upset.

Seems like you are but just to know exactly when your production week will be just call your dealer and ask them or you can call BMW Genuis and they can give you the week
being that it is indv paint it might be delayed or have a later production week

I would not settled for that

call the dealer and ask for a refund on deposit and then find another dealer that can give you an allocation and have it done right with the carbon roof

Glovis Spirit just docked at the Brunswick, GA port. Does anyone have an idea how long cars typically sit there before they get transported to the performance center? I don’t have any port installed options. BMW genius has no idea and didn’t even know the vessel was delayed almost two weeks!

Mine was there for 2.5 weeks before it went to PCD.
Another person that was on same ship was there for a week before PCD.

My car just skipped all the way to at the port over night. How do I find out what ship it’s going to and the scheduled? I’m in Northern CA.

You can give BMW genius a call and they can give you the ship name and scheduled arrival date

also how long did your car sit in ready for transport?

Also just got off a call with BMW Genius and the lady said that the car is on a train and that will take a month of get to the port because they load other things on to that train other than cars. So once it arrives to the port the status will change on their end and should be 193 that means it is at the port and then will be assigned a carrier

so I don't even know at this point what the delay is
she said that around December 27 I should be at the port
super disappointing
no end of year delivery for me I think

22 days my car was ready for transport. It just switched to in transit. I might have a chance for end of the year delivery.

No idea. I guess I gotta talk to a real person in the phone and at this point the car’s delivery is soon. Mexico to CA couldn’t be more than a week in the ocean.

Finally an update today! I was 165 - In Delivery - Ready for Transport since 11/20.

I'm now in 195 - In Transit!

I'm about to call to find out what ship it's on. West coast delivery.
