Dang, I was a week behind you, but somehow I made it through assembly really quick. I'm stuck at ready for transport now though. Hoping we get on a boat soon. It doesn't seem like there are a lot of other cars going through production right now so that is a bit worrying.

Where did you see the info re iDrive 7 screens? I wonder if this could mean they pull forward iDrive 8 production so they can keep making cars?

My dealer mentioned this is a potential reason for me losing allocation, but unconfirmed at this point. Hoping for further news next week, which is when it was supposed to be starting build after the fourth delay.

Well... if BMW is having to locate new suppliers for older technology that wouldn't make great business sense. Its more complex i.e. more expensive to have two different infotainment systems in production rather than one.

I'm still hoping and praying my MY2023 has iDrive 7 but I won't hold out too much hope.

My car just moved to "At the port" after ~2.5 weeks of "awaiting carrier transport". I was actually hoping it would take a little longer, as I don't want to take delivery (at PCD) until mid-July!

Update: called BMW Genius and my car is on the Silver Ray which departed Veracruz on the 8th. Arrival to Brunswick on the 16th.

If you can get your production number from your dealer you can also call BMW Canada and ask for your order 's updates using that production number as we here in Canada dont have the availability to check our orders directly from the BMW website ( bmw my garage).

RCC Africa just arrived at the Port of Brunswick today with my car on it. IDK how long the VPC needs to install the CF rear diffuser and send it up to ATL....but I'm STOKED!!

My car got off the RCC Africa today as well.. it shows as at-port so it has been unloaded. I got the M Performance Mats which is a port installed option so hopefully that does not hold things up too much. I forgot to remove it. I had removed the spoiler and some other items as there was a potential for them to delay it. I just hope it makes it from Brunswick to Jackson, MS by Friday of next week. Sooner would be better.

Same, there's a lot of us that are pushed back indefinitely, kicked back to Order Received status. I was supposed to be week 20…

I called genius today (I call them almost every day) and they are still saying it should be produced as a 2022 MY… and my CA still thinks it's getting produced this week so literally no one at BMW knows. Ridiculous tbh…

I'm at week 23 in 112, scheduled for production. Not at all confident that it will stick. I've must've called like 20 dealerships to see if any stock was available. Anything that's listed on their site are sold orders which I'm not sure why they're are listed if they're sold.

I did find one but it's in purple and I don't really want a purple one.

oh man, i tried to ignore my car status, just checked every satuday, but i kinda mad now. how they can not make a right schedule for us, just delay again and again. why

I just scheduled my PCD for July 13th. There was nothing available in may, and it seems like beginning of July is filling up quick so you might have to take delivery in mid July anyway. My car got to Brunswick on April 30th.

Wow, this is super helpful. July 13th is literally the exact date we were hoping for. Hope some date that week is available by the time my car makes it to Brunswick.

How fast were you able to schedule vs. when your car got to Brunswick? When do you need to start making payments on the car?

I called my dealer today and he told my status is 150. I guess thats a good sign as he indicated it would be like a 4 week wait now

My order has been in Final Assembly as well since May 4th. emailed Genius and they said car has been “produced and handed off to Sales that same day May 4th and that once it ships, new info will be generated. Maybe we’ll both be on the next ship? Looks like we’ll be at BMW of SA picking up at the same time!

Yeah, I wish there was a way to know what parts might be holding your car back so you could choose something else to get your car sooner.

My build has pretty much everything but the performance tire and wheel package. ACC and wireless charging were also unavailable to me.

This is the same position as my build. Pushed back 4 times so far and now no longer scheduled. Status 105. I ask the genius for an update every couple of days but hasn’t changed since Friday last week. Starting to wonder if the car will arrive this summer…
