Let’s see how they hold up after 10k miles. I kept the OEM. So can switch back if needed.
Here is a pic of the same Infinite Autowerks tips on my car from a distance. Mine are the black stainless (I think the same as yours). Chrome tips may have stood out a bit more like the factory oval tips but I like the subtle look myself.

The seat backs and the bland M badges in the seats were 2 things when I first saw the car I thought, that looks cheap.
Unsurprisingly, they are also probably the 2 most expensive mods for what they are.

Got the tyres on and did a test fit today to check the TPM sensors and fitment (which is excellent btw)

Garage List
2023 BMW M240i  [10.00]
Installed a Dinan intake. A bit more sound, does seem to have a bit more up top too, but I'm sure the AA downpipe is def adding to that. Either way, worth it!

Next mod is ATS lowering springs!

Anyone ever try the dry carbon fiber aftermarket pieces from Aliexpress? They look a lot like the ones seen on the traditional aftermarket car seller websites. I'm curious if the quality is any good.

I'm fairly certain that it's mostly all the same stuff being sold everywhere outside of China.

If you look hard enough the price difference is eye opening.

Just put mine on in chrome. It took awhile to get them semi symmetrical even with the clamps.

I finally fixed the thumping / rattle noise coming from my noisy rear end. (the car’s rear end, my rear end will always be noisy) It was NOT the suspension like I thought, it was in fact the rear parcel shelf. Made a separate thread about the whole process if interested: https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2065966

Ask and ye shall receive…

BMW recommended tyre and size:

Winter Continental Winter Contact TS860 SSR (star marked)

225/40 19 93H Run Flat
255/35 19 96H Run Flat

12mm spacers added all round as theses are thinner wheels and different offset to the standard 893M. I’d didn’t want to go all Carlos Fandango wide wheels in case the spacers stuck to the hub and then I’m stuck when I switch back to 893Ms in summer.

The M Performance screen printing on each wheel is total Nedsville. Chav AF. Hopefully Mrs P will kerb them before the year is out and I can powder coat them.

I used a very very thin coating of heart resistant aluminium paste (instead of copperslip) can't remember the name off the top of my head, and after 6 months the Spacers came of with no hint of sticking, bit more cost than normal but worked a treat

So got in the car today and the passenger seat wouldn't move forward, the rest of the controls worked, checked for any blockages or something under the seat then restarted the car and still nothing. Drove down to Henley and tried the seat again and it worked 🤷 is it a one off glitch or something to be worried about? 🤔

Use copper slip in the past and I think it reacts with the modern metals (as you say probably aluminium) on the hubs these days. Used ceramic grease this time.

Finished building the wiring harness for the rear USB-C ports.
Haven’t test it yet and so far only made a handful of mistakes installing the pins into the connectors.

Everything is connected the big question now, will the factory connector mate up with the one I built. Next weekend will find out.
Don’t need to break the car on a Sunday night
