Based on past ship schedules, the current schedule is likely to be close to the following (which aligns with dates we've been told by our CAs)
Nov 12 - Brunswick Nov 14 - Sparrows Point Nov 15 - Baltimore Nov 17 - Philadelphia Nov 19 - NY/NJ Given that 4800 autos were likely loaded in Veracruz, but the port storage appeared to be filled after only 3 weeks (build weeks 39-41), we're talking about ~3k East Coast BMWs loaded, and likely 1800 vehicles from another manufacturer. We do know some build week 41s and 42s were on the last Cardinal ship out of Atlamira. That leaves us with only 2500 autos remaining in Altamira for the Sunrise, and it's unclear how many of those will be BMWs versus other manufacturers. But it seems like the remaining week 42s could make it in Altamira, but how many of the week 43s could make it is a big question mark, and week 44s would be a big surprise to me. Also, I'm guessing that anyone that went into RFT this week, or next week will get sent to Veracruz. And then after it fills up to the 3k mark will spill over again to go to Altamira. *The above is complete speculation based on past events. |

My car just arrived in Galveston this morning on the Toronto! Confirmed by BMW genius email and on phone. My tracker still says RFT probably because the trip from Veracruz is only 2 days

Perfect, I just contacted my sales guy for a "rough" final number so I can start that process.

Just for shits and giggles I called genius to verify - I am in fact on the Glovis Sunrise and they said expected (but subject to change) arrival in NY/NJ is 11/19.
So as of today the planned route of the sunrise looks to be the same.

If you went RFT 11/7, I'd doubt 99.9% that you are at port yet. Technically RFT means waiting on transport to leave for the port. Granted lately we've seen quite a few lately where they get left on RFT and it doesn't update to the intermediate statuses.
