Me and you both. At least our cars are sharing the same boat. Next we need a East Coast Delivery to Break-In Support Group thread.

My only goal is to have the break-in done before like march/april but that mayyyy be tough depending on weather...that way when track season starts I can get out there!

Nov 12 - Brunswick
Nov 14 - Sparrows Point
Nov 15 - Baltimore
Nov 17 - Philadelphia
Nov 19 - NY/NJ

Given that 4800 autos were likely loaded in Veracruz, but the port storage appeared to be filled after only 3 weeks (build weeks 39-41), we're talking about ~3k East Coast BMWs loaded, and likely 1800 vehicles from another manufacturer. We do know some build week 41s and 42s were on the last Cardinal ship out of Atlamira.

That leaves us with only 2500 autos remaining in Altamira for the Sunrise, and it's unclear how many of those will be BMWs versus other manufacturers. But it seems like the remaining week 42s could make it in Altamira, but how many of the week 43s could make it is a big question mark, and week 44s would be a big surprise to me.

Also, I'm guessing that anyone that went into RFT this week, or next week will get sent to Veracruz. And then after it fills up to the 3k mark will spill over again to go to Altamira.

*The above is complete speculation based on past events.

I have finally gotten mine into RFT after a 10 month wait for an allocation. So i am Very much wishing that week 43/44 some how made it.. but again i know that is wishful thinking i just feel like my dealer back burned me on an allocation.

Genius stated that currently my M2 is in transit to port of departure or could already be there and just not scanned in. they stated that i can call back tomorrow or Friday and they may have an ETA or a vessel.

I lost 400lbs of physical weight to save my life and start a new chapter. This car is a dream come true for me and i cannot wait to be involved in the community hopefully. I almost just wanna save the money and get a supra

Update on those currently in RFT: Was completed 10/30, RFT 10/31 according the genius. Stated my car was actively in transit to the destination port on a carrier but was unsure of what port I was going to or what boat I would be on. Website tracker hasn’t updated from RFT but I’m assuming this is thanks to Glovis picking up all of the cars that is did. CA isn’t the most communicative and stated she has no more tracking than I do, so looks like this forum, Genius, and MyGarage will be my 3 go-to resources during this journey.

My first track day is March 16/17. My breakin needs to be done by then. Goal is to have it done on any dry not too cold days post arrival.

When we take delivery, we need a few Philly to Boston organized drive events to run the miles, whenever the weather is nice.

At least we will all have the same RPM limits 😎

NASA? What’s the NE track, limerock, right? I’ve eyed a couple of those events, either Watkins glen or limerock but I’m still in hpde 1 and I really like working with my instructor and he doesn’t get up to limerock, he’s real local to me (15 mins away)

BMW really took ya orders without any financial commitments? I had to put a down payment and I financed through them to get the $1000 of for student discount. My plan was to purchase via cash but I figured I could get $1000 more to just keep the account open for 6 months. I’ll pay off all but 5 monthly payment in the first month so I’m not dinged on interest payments

If you do get on the glovis…count your self lucky….the majority of us in here were waiting for the better part of 3-4 weeks in RFT as indicated earlier.

Definitely not banking on making it this go around. Planning on a late December early January delivery. Anticipating to make whatever the next boat is that drops at Brunswick. I can be patient and wait my turn while I live vicariously through others

You can pay it off whenever you want but it will negatively affect your credit. I took a 60 month loan out last year and just paid the car off. My credit score dropped 12 points, nothing crazy if you're well into the 800's.

From a dealer perspectives, depending on how much you finance and @ what term there is a kick back from the bank. Nothing crazy, but anywhere from $200-$1,000 depending on how much is financed and the term. Dealers will tell you to not pay the car off before 6 months because they then get charged back the flat because the loan was satisfied too quick. Pay it off whenever you want if you're okay with the credit.

I don’t care much for the drop in my credit score, this is my only big purchase for a while so I will be able to rebuild my credit…bmw tried to pull the “don’t pay it off too quick line” but I’m not in the business of giving them 7% interest when I have the cash. I only financed because there was an incentive for an additional $1000 off

Man, I really feel for you guys here. "South" or TX doesn't have it's own thread but I am guessing I caught one of the boats stopping in Galveston before making it's way to the East Coast to you guys.

Week 43 build
RFT 10/27
11/8 - At the Port - CA claims I am on the way to Galveston.

It's probably just unloading all the cars from Veracruz so they can wait another month in Altamira instead j.k. I don't have the energy for that anymore. 5 weeks was enough!
