Apple iPad 10.2" (9th Gen). These were going for $250 on Amazon, so I grabbed one to use as a monitor for my PoE cams. I have one already in my office, but I wanted one to set beside my recliner in the living room. It'll also come in handy for reading the occasional e-book.

They also have an online guide that will help you decide what shoe is best for you. It's not great but it helps you narrow them down.

I used to work for an Italian company. No Google needed here

Multiple times a day I'd hear Luca in his office "VAFFANCULO!"

I used to work for UPS in Nürnberg and had a supervisor who was Hungarian. He used to use the word minchia all the time. I found it amusing that here I am, an American, having a conversation in German, with a Hungarian, who is swearing in Italian.

Synology DiskStation DS224+

I had a couple of 8TB drives I wasn't using, to I got this to set up as a backup server for my NAS and as a Central Management Server (CMS) for my other Synology boxes.

Just placed my order for this BESPOKE Samsung Refrigerator. Pretty hyped! Our current one we got when we built our house 6yrs ago. It's also a Samsung: Stainless Steel 2-Door + 2-Drawer. This new one will be White Glass, 4-Door, Smart AI Vision, Dual Ice-Maker and much more!

Balsamic vinegar. Not an expert by any means. They had some brands that were $3.00 + per ounce. Yikes..

This brand is $13.00 for a pint. Probably is rot-gut... ... and I'll use it for cleaning the coffee pot !

Not really an item, per se. Had the electricians here today to covert a 220 dryer plug (where the blank face plate is) to a 4-gang 110 outlet so my network cabinet can be on its own breaker. I had them move the outlet up the wall so it's tight underneath the network cabinet. They did a nice job and it took them less than an hour.

Fitness - Probably just a low end FitBit for $200

So I was gonna spend that much anyway. Instead I get an all in one I don't have to change (or on the course wear two to play golf and track walking). Sorry if I am feeling like I'm defending my purchase. I just wanted it.

I just picked one up too! My Series 3 finally bit the dust. The battery dies within 10 minutes. I figured 6 years of abusing this watch was not bad for $400. I could have had the battery fixed for $70, but honestly, I was just waiting for an excuse to get the new one because I wanted the "always on" feature.

This time I caved for the Ultra 2. The bigger screen really drew me in. I use it for strength training, hiking, biking, and pickleball to monitor my HR as well as track my workouts. I also suffer from tinnitus so I always have the DB meter on screen so I can save my hearing.

Also, this Hot Wheel I got on ebay was waiting on my doorstep when I returned from the Apple Store!

Also, does anyone else add the My BMW app just to get the BMW logo on your apple watch?

This is my first pair of Serengeti sunglasses. I`m more of a Maui Jim kind of guy, but I am really impressed with the quality of the Serengeti's for how much they cost.
I wore them on the drive home from Costco and everything was so much brighter compared to my other sunglasses.

That brown lens shade is my favorite. It makes fall foliage look so cool.

You should check out the Oakley Prizm then. I have a set in my RX and bucked up for the Prizm so they could double as shooting glasses and holy moly the greens and red/orange shades really pop in them. Great for shooting, but the first fall (and even spring) with them was amazing.

We have a crabapple tree in front of our building and I got these in the spring and when I pulled in the blooms on it looked like they were glowing! LOL

Good glasses are a must.

I'm usually disappointed in my foliage images in the Fall because the foliage always looks better to my eyes than what the camera sees. I need a filter for the camera that replicates the lens tint.

Does paying property taxes count as a "purchase"? I suppose on some level it does, but ..... grrrrr.
