Why would you get a cat back exhaust? I thought we were just trying to remove weight from the front

Only thing that sucks about installing a lithium battery for weight savings is the weight distribution is a near 53/47 split f/r so it would be removing weight from the wrong end because the battery is in the trunk.

You are starting to sound like zero. This is why the battery will not be my first mod, it's on the list for potential mods though.

A quality titanium catback will help with performance (especially with the eventual highflow downpipe and tune) and shed overall weight. A larger benefit than worrying to the point of stressing over exact percentage of distribution from front to back.

I’m going to get those along with the front & rear reflector delete: https://ind-distribution.com/product...smetic-package

I know, I was being facetious with zero21. I am curious if anyone is going for the mperf exhaust.

I have that set sitting here waiting for my car to arrive. However, now I'm concerned that the addition of paint and ceramic coating may add weight to the car.

Maybe remove the paint from the back half of the car?

The front half, that's where the excess weight is.

Even though I will be keeping my rear reflector stock, the rear reflector delete will be a nice option for many.

The most they moved with a reposition was 2lbs up and down. Shop owner knows what he's doing and equipment is accurate (former legit race car driver and long time mechanic).

If the equipment is level, then I would wait a couple of months until the suspension is broken in. the front left and rear right suspension components are currently exerting more downward pressure than the front right and rear left, but bushings not broken in can cause this. It isn't a case of there just being a higher weight on the front left, as otherwise the rear right would be lower and there would be a left to right weight difference.

Assuming besides the floor confirmed as level, all the tyre pressures were at spec before measurement, too? I haven't had dealers be very accurate in setting tyre pressures in the past.

Tire pressure was 33psi. I can go back in a couple months and re-check. My trip through downtown last night definitely "broke-in" my suspension

Guessing the E30 M3 there was Brilliant Red? If so, it belongs to a fellow Sandlapper member.
