Lupsy/Luddie/Rudi/Tutti was mentioning how some of us have uncanny ability to remember jingles from 30+ years ago.

I think testosterone fixates memories in the brain

Sampler of Ireland with fish bites, lamb stew, Sheppard's pie all washed down with black/tan

when it comes to spaghetti...the fam bam loves it very chunky!!! so instead of just posting a picture of it done, I thought i'd post some during pictures and after

onions and garlic sautéing with a bit of Bertolli's olive oil

than tossed in Italian Sausage and Mushrooms

in a separate pan ground beef and more onions and garlic

than all combined together with Spaghetti sauce, Stewed tomatoes, diced tomates and paste

and topped off with parmesan cheese and sides of garlic toast!

the funny part is I invited one of our friends over for dinner and he could not eat this because he prefers his spaghetti sauce plain with nothing in it...I mean nothing even meatballs WTF! any of you guys the same way when it comes to spaghetti plain?

I put ingredients in a food processor before making my sauce and meatballs. I prefer a smooth sauce to a sauce with chunks of onions, pepper or garlic. Same for meatballs and seasoning for meat that goes into meat sauce.

Looks delicious.

I like both a "plain" tomato sauce, as well as a meat sauce like you are showing here. It depends on the pasta being used. For example I'd never use a simple tomato sauce with say- rigatoni; just as I'd never use a chunky meat sauce with ravioli.

I like spaghetti sauce with enough chunky stuff that it will stay mounded if you pile it up. I hate runny, watery sauce. That sauce above looks awesome. Pair that up with al dente pasta that is well drained (again, I hate water/sauce mix on the plate) and I'd be in heaven.

usually runny sauce is when you don't drain say the canned tomatoes used. if it does come out runny for whatever reason you can add tomato paste which I use to thicken the sauce up

You can have smooth sauce that's thick, not watery. Watery sauce is poorly prepared.

Actually made a pork tenderloin tonight. Thanks for the idea for the leftover pork.

To me, some really great things like meat and genitals are so much more appetizing photographed with a little less detail.
