We are going to start a fund for this guy to pay for his day pass at the Nürburgring.
Above poster said €70 for 4 laps, our friend only needs 1 lap since he can finish under 10min. So we only need €17.50 which is $26.58USD. I think we can all paypal $26.58USD to see our young Schumacher make E90Post.com proud eh?

I don't know about that. Colin McRae and Richard Burns recently (kind of) probably were attacked by him, so he could steal their brains. I think he's working on Michael Schumacher next or maybe Tommi Makinen?

I propose we make The_Blob the official E90Post.com ambassador to the Nürburgring, then we can all brag we sponsored the guy from Canada that did the Nürburgring in under 10minutes on his 1st try.
I will personally setup and oversee the official E90Post.com "Nürburgring under 10min on my first try" fund. Send all paypal contributions to IcanFinishNürburgringUnder10minOnMy1stTry@Canadian Schumacher.com

The Nurburgring is nothing more than one of the best track out there which was designed to challenge racers and their machines in every aspect of driving and physics that go with it?
Sure you might think there are more challenging roads out here, but they were not designed for racing. They're have variable road conditions and are not slopped properly to be going full speed. But to claim you can do it in less than 10mins??? Try it in Forza first... you have a better chance there!

His claim may be ridiculous, but if moronic statements shame an entire nation, then I think you yanks have a fair lead on us all things considered

I personally reckon getting under a 1 minute of the time the can truly achieve would be really be difficult, especially within the first few laps. |

Like footie mentioned it would depend on the car as well. For example, in an E46 320i with 170HP, you and the OP would be like, "lawl, this is harder than I thought yuk yuk yuk." On the other hand, in something like an E46 M3, you guys would just crash mid-way through (if that) just because of red mist, probably thinking, "Shieet, I'm going to show those guys that I'm a super pro badass." Before you crash, you'll probably get passed by a Golf or something though. Think about it. What kind of lap time did you put down your first time at any given track? Now multiply the distance and exponential sector characteristics by 4-6x. Seems a little harder than you thought, huh? |
