My dealer called me today! No definite date yet. "Soon" Probably early November. I gave my deposit in June According to him I will be ordering as soon as its up.

This vehicle is already pushing 3,800lbs without a fat ass driver, literally a few ounces from a camera and wires is not going to sink it or take away any of its performance luster 🙄

That BMW 360 camera feature (3D Surround View) is amazing. It has a "God View" feature (think Tesla's "Sentry Mode") where you can view what is going on around your vehicle when it's parked up stationary, in real time, from a phone APP.

Truly a missed opportunity here for a really cutting-edge feature. But hey, at least there a speed camera light warning is including - for an annual fee of course.

The 360 cameras have saved me from curbing wheels and are also great to help you see around a corner before you exit. I bet they offer it on LCI, kind of how the OG M2 didn't have some cameras but the M2c did.

It is truly a worthwhile feature and I'm not sure if will end up on the LCI but it will be a welcomed add on and would sway me to wait because as silly as that sound, I suffer from a severe case of "FOMO" or fear of missing out.

The G87 still has Auto PDC and supposedly a new parallel parking assistance feature. I obviously didn't get a chance to try it out yet but supposedly when you pull up to park, it automatically leverages the side cameras to give you a heads up on how far away you are from the curb, so you don't touch the wheel.

However, I still want the whole enchilada, namely full-blown 360 view real time cameras!

It's the same HK audio system as the G42.

I just hope in the US market it's an à la carte option and not tied to some fluffy $4,000 "Fast & Furious Package" or whatever, as BMW tends to do. 'Cause just for that reason alone I'll completely write off this vehicle as a potential option, on sheer principle.

Cognac is not a very light color like white, grey or beige. I am not too worried about upkeep and definitely going with cognac over the plain looking black. I wish red interior was an option though...

Really hate the way it's basically just the seats and that little ring of leather on the doors. That's why I went black interior on my G42
