Reminds of the hay day when ebay started getting flooded with fake STI and EVO spoilers for Sentra's and Sonatas.

I guess what's missing here is the tacked on hood scoop.

Being a previous owner of an STI.. I will say get this sh*t outta here BMW.

It seems that they made the decision that the M2's target audience is much younger, ignoring the fact this is still a $70k car and not a Civic. In that Q&A video the guy mentioned decisions around the target audience a couple of times, and I got the vibe he meant very young folks. These tacked on items look terrible to these old guy eyes so mission accomplished, BMW.

Only BMW could take their already questionable design decisions and compound them with even worse decisions. Sorry but these designers at BMW are tasteless and lack any real artistic finesse. It seems the company is 'infected' with this crap from the top down. Even their marketing has become tasteless, lazy and child like. What happened to the class they clearly possessed only a few years ago? It's like they just copy and pasted the first page of BMW eBay modifications. Embarrassing (again!).

I think that's the intent.. I remember loving the e36 when it came out and I was in high school, and couldn't afford it. They want high schoolers to love and drool over it while the mid 20's and 30's buy em… that's how it works

Must have spoke to the MINI dept from the GP3 and gotten inspiration from them. This looks gawd awful. The front side inlets makes me think GT2 RS though, but that's about it and even then it's not much of a saving-grace here.

Call me crazy, but I think I would fully embrace the new bold styling and get the Mperf rear spolier painted in body color. I don't really care for the other parts. The spoiler has a E30 Evo M3 vibe.

idk what theyre calling these thingies but im really into those rear boxy flare-out things and the center stacked exhaust actually fits with the design this time. I wouldnt touch any of the other stuff though if i got one of these

The m performance parts are almost always ridiculous in a bad way imo so this is mostly nothing new lol
