I didn’t contact anyone, my Center has been handling everything. Because of the delays thus far (extended QC stay then missing Grand Pioneer by a day resulting in a 34 days siesta), my approaching rate expiration (rates went up again today .25% thru BMWFS) and my consistent communication, they’ve soliticted assistance to make the rest of the journey as efficient as possible.

My CA is as lost as the Geniuses, he won’t be able to tell me if they have my M Performance at port ready to be installed or not.

Still sitting in Final Assembly almost 12 days after it was prod complete (05/22).

Has this happened to anyone? What should I be expecting the next step to be?

Genius has no clue and keeps claiming that it’s waiting for vessel assignment (does not know if it’s at the factory, the port, or anywhere else for that matter) and the CA thinks it’s coming from Germany lol.

Also possible that it's just not updating. The tracker isn't the most reliable tool after all. Let's hope your car is just waiting for a vessel!

Yes, that’s all I can hope for. I am seeing people with week 21 builds moving to RFT so wondering why mine is stuck. Lack of insights from BMW are frustrating especially as I’m planning a vacation around this.

Well, whether this is good news or bad, the next ship I’m seeing that makes since is leaving Veracruz 7/4. So I’m sure whatever is happening won’t keep you from making that ship. There could of course be a wildcard like Glovis Spirit that isn’t showing up on any shipping sites but based on the month between ships of late, it seems unlikely.

Are you seeing a production date that’s past when using F12? My production date changed after all that time I was in QC, so if your vehicle has been handed over to sales and you can see the Owners Manual online, I would rest assured that it’s just SLP not updating in a timely manner, of which we have lots of evidence.

F12 shows the same prod date as what’s being communicated. And yes, able to access the owners manual. I guess will sit here patiently waiting for an August delivery, man this sucks lol.

Honestly just luck. I called all the dealers in Michigan to get a ballpark time and this was the best time at 4-9 months but there was no one on this list so I jumped on it

Knock Sensor but it seems it’s more limited than first thought. It’s effected a small number of cars amongst M2/340/M3 lines, from what I’ve seen and heard, though it supposedly covers just about every current Engine.
