They’re replacing them on modified cars. A lot on track day cars too.
Believe the only people not getting them warranty replaced are the ones throwing boost at it. |

Relax and touch grass. They read my logs and found everything is good. We at my shop did find a bent gear selector from manufacture. This just in about an hour ago after speaking with BMW NA. How dumb do you feel? My warranty will be satisfying even more now. Is wittle man gonna report me? Waaaa I’ll likely do an aftermarket gear selector even though this is cause since my ECU logs are fine and there’s no damage to engine or trans. Happy driving son! |

I love my Miata RF. Got the BBS/Brembo/Recaro package. I agree. Everyone should try a Miata at least once and drive the piss out it. I know I do. Prolly one of the best mannys on the market. Slow car fast!
And notice, I have a Zunsport grill on her😉 Happy Motoring. |

Same color as mine before I wrapped it. I’m not a fan of gray cars but that color in person is so nice. I did the Carbon Miata instead of Zunsport |

They did 4 each. One was even a built one from a cup car. It was a car originally designed for the 1.5l engine. Last minute their US CEO pushed them to throw a 2.0l engine in it because in America we don’t like tiny engines I guess. The transmission was already designed close to breaking point (weight savings) so throwing more power at it wasn’t the move. |

CDV is part of the clutch not transmission.
Most powertrain warranties don’t cover clutch because it’s a wear item. Sounds like they knew about the CDV delete and still covered it so good on them for recognizing it doesn’t affect the forks in any way. |

How made are you on a scale from 1-10 that I don’t have to pay a dime and still bang more gears in an hour than you do in 3 years?
