I have a G87 in PBM on order. I chose PBM because I think it goes well with the blue brake calipers and the buckets.

The color pops in the sun, but when it’s cloudy I find it underwhelming and it seems to take on a purple look (see the attached pics).

Has anyone else observed this?

I actually like the purple tinge it has in dull light. It adds something to the depth of the blue.

Picked up my M2 yesterday in Portimao Blue. Absolutely over the moon with it. Now to get those 1200miles done before it's first service on the 3rd of Feb!.

Absolutely love the silver wheels. These were my 1st choice but since I bought mine from dealer stock rather than special order I was “stuck” with black/silver.

I had a PBM 330e, and yes it has a purple tint to it under less than sunny conditions. Marina Bay Blue on my wife's X3MC is a step above in the blue category.

I have a PBM car and I specifically wanted the blue calipers and blue stitched seats rather than the red calipers and M colored red/blue seats. I think that the “all blue” theme is unique because there is no Toronto red anymore to match the red brembos although there are all red (non-m colored) seats. I think the PBM will stand the test of time. I was afraid to go with a lot of the other colors as I feel they might seem dated in 10-15 years (I’m into this car for the long haul).

Yep. That looks a whole lot better. It looks the way it should from the factory IMO.

Temps were above 45 yesterday and most of the salt has washed off the roads so I stretched it out bit yesterday. I saw a new number on the heads up display.

Washed it and put it away so it will at least stay clean and salt free for 24 hours. Love the Portimao Blue.

Wow. Ok guys. So FINALLY picked up my car today. So excited that I have done a few small mods already.
Bigger day tomorrow with Ceramic Coating and full detail happening.
Anyway not a long diatribe as it’s been a big day.
Love the car. Can’t wait to have a proper drive in the coming days.

6 hours of cleaning and ceramic coating. Fitting mud flaps, splitter and other bits and pieces. Exhaust valve controller (makes a noticeable difference).
The car is now parked up curing for 48 hours then it’s good to go.

The length and proportion of the hood to bumper of the M2 is one of the many aspects I love about this car.

What front splitter is that? I pick my my car up in a week, and I’ve been trying to decide whether or not to go with gloss black or carbon. Also can I get a pic of the rear with the spoiler, trying to decide with spoiler to go with too.

As per Arki, what splitter is that!? Nice you have fitted the same mud flaps as I have.

I believe he went with the Aeroflow Dynamics splitter.

(Since he mentioned it using an image of my car, I don't think I'm going too far out on a limb here...)
