Kinda cool 😎. I think not having a huge grill like this is a breath of fresh air to be honest. This is no dig at the M3, but the outgoing 4 series coupe was awful

I don't think the "kidneys" would have to be black "holes" for New-tradition look. Just idea...

Judging by their sales numbers they must be making the right decisions.

Kidney size depends no only on overall design philosophy but the size of the vehicle. Some of their SUVs would look silly with small kidney's.

front is ok, at least it has a normal sized grille
