Also, Intel based processes for MAC.

Basically, on my 4 year old MBP, I have Windows XP loaded on it, haven't booted to Windows in 3.5 years.

Microsoft also released a mac version of remote desktop for those who use terminal servers at work.

Has anyone used any version of remote desktop apps on their ipad? Im interested to see if I can get some of the lawyers on my firm to use it on their ipad, but I don't know how well it will run.

Yep, I have used the Iphone version but it's too small to use for doing anything for me. But it was handy for me to reboot a server with my Iphone when I was on the road.

good luck. the head of IT for my firm is a major apple phag. if it was his choice he'd switch every last piece of equipment over that's how much he loathes PC.

Problem is my firm just spent major $$$ on developing our own case management software over the last 4 years from the ground up. It was all developed with only PC in mind much to his dismay. Try to use it on an apple and it goes insane. I dont think they are too far from getting it to the point of selling it to other firms if they want to.

plus lawyers are the dumbest smart people I know, you should know that too.....

Yeah, im the opposite, Im really not a mac fan. I just wanted to know if I could give some of them that use Ipads the option, maybe it will keep them out of the office lol

We are looking to upgrade our case management software and they are thinking of paying someone to design our own also, but I doubt they will ever pull the trigger on it. We use some OLD shit, let me tell you.

Yes I know they are the dumbest smart people, very much so. The other day I got a text from one of the head lawyers "we have 3 lawyers here trying to figure out how to get sound on this computer, we shouldn't have these problems" .. oh the irony.

You don't get GPS without the 3G chip... although you'll need an app like Navigon since without a data plan, Google can't download the maps.
