As you probably know Esteban this is a rework of a '29 song by Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy about the Mississippi flood of '27 which was the worst flooding in US history.

It was a terrible time and that older song was done in the year of the '29 Wall Street crash known as Black Tuesday.

A little known fact....The name "UB40" was selected in reference to an attendance card issued to people claiming unemployment benefits from the UK government Department of Employment. The designation UB40 stood for Unemployment Benefit, Form 40.

There is a pic of the actual breach in the levee at Mound Landing at the end of the song. The place is a ghost town now with just a boat ramp present used by a hunting club, I like these interesting facts which are connected to the LZ song.

That's right Esteban, Coverdale was at DP from '73 to '76 before forming Whitesnake in '78.
This album is not their best one but still a good listen.
