Ok, not a pic of my M2 but took a liking to this car and the color. The 2025 Z4 M40i with the 6 speed manual. Is this the new 6mt transmission that ive read discussions about on here? I really really like this color, deep green frozen metallic.

That is the frozen green Z4 and the transmission is really great, in my mind. Of course, mine is the San Remo Green (the unfrozen version).

Got it. Both green colors are sharp I'm sure. Is this the same 6mt in the M2, or something different?

Have not driven an M2 so can't really answer that question. I suspect they are slightly different manuals, given the different intended personality of the M2 & Z4.

Reportedly, there were some small changes in the Z4 manual that improve the feel. That's according to several of the journalists who've driven both cars and spoken to engineers.

I think it was Toyota that demanded something be done. BMW did that something and decided to just throw it in the Supra cousin Z4.
