Hey guys, quick question, I’ve been in RFT since Monday. Does RFT mean my car is at the factory waiting to be transported to any of the ports? Or does it mean my car is already at the port waiting for a ship. Also, does anybody know how long it takes to get the cars from the factory to Veracruz or Altamira?

I’m just trying to figure out if there is any chance I can catch one of these ships before they set sail or not.

More than likely its already at a port. Which one is the question though. If it went to Altamira then I'd say there is a very slim chance its getting on this ship. Its not impossible but its highly unlikely. Transit time to Altamira I'd guess its a day, Veracruz maybe 2 days'ish.

TECHNICALLY yes, it means it's waiting to go to port. But as we've seen the next scan or multiple may be missed and the status codes doesn't update.

At the port is at the port. Technically the statuses are:
Ready for transport->awaiting carrier->dispatched from factory->at port->in transit->at port

Sunrise should be leaving within the hour or so. It’s destination got updated in the tracker and, based on other ships I’ve seen, that means it getting ready to head out and is just waiting on a tug boat. On a side note, ETA to Brunswick is now late on the 13th, as opposed to early morning like it was before.

I see a tug headed towards sunrise and cape quest but status is “restricted maneuverability” since themis is leaving right next to it

Hopefully the Brunswick outlook is correct and vesselfinder is wrong. They have a berth scheduled a full day earlier than vesselfinder's projection.

Vessel finder just uses its current speed to estimate and at the time it was like backing up via tug. Wait until it gets into open water and then it'll be closer. I would suspect the outlook is more accurate.
