I didn't get pics because we were WAY outside of any range, I just put my phone in airplane mode.
Dad called while I was fishing Saturday morning. He got an email Thursday from the insurance company that said he had to clear some branches by Monday, or they would cancel. So he calls the dependable son. My wife went too We get to Lake Isabella about 5:15, find some 30%-off, use it today packages of meat. Broccoli and potatoes too (oh, how did that tall boy of Mike's Hard get in there???) We cleaned teh north side of the house whiel the wife was baking, then we lost power. Fire up the BBQ, put the potatoes on, then the power comes back. Fine, time to concentrate on fire. Mrs. Dash and black pepper, turned out really good. Or I was famished. Sunday morning, leftover steak was mixed into eggs, with some sharp cheddar on top. It just doesn't get much better. |
