Hmm, are you sure about that? Last time i drove with Sport Plus engaged on the freeway, i thought the car maintained a lower gear (7th gear) , and rpms stayed elevated

This is very possible, I rarely use Sport Plus, but rather Sport Individual with the transmission set to Sport. At 60 to 70MPH, with the transmission in drive, it does not always shift into 8th gear. Putting the car back to comfort will immediately cause it to shift to 8th. I know Sport Plus will hold the gears even more than just Sport, so it is possible it may remain in 7th.

We need a g42 theory crafting thread.
Back on topic I took my 6 month old on a ride today. Found the easiest way to get his car seat in and out with him in it was to recline my seat all the way and reach over. He fell asleep after about 5 mins the aa downpipe and mpe exhaust combo must be pretty soothing. Still looking for a baby Hans device to hold him steady as he's been begging for a launch but I keep telling him his neck isn't strong enough yet. |

Installed the maxton diffuser and auto id side skirts. It rained on me mid install but we pulled through. I also got the rear spats but not sure how to tackle the install. Does anyone have any insights? It might be better for a body shop to do it.
Had the gloss black winglets for a bit but I think the side skirt lowers the profile, as I think it’s way too tall towards the rear end. Don’t mind the cracked front lip and dirty wheels, car hasn’t been washed in a while |

There’s no tach in eco, so maybe it’s just more valves? Idk, difference in consumption at this point is likely miniscule, just thought it was worth mentioning that all things are not equal at highway speeds between drive modes.

Yeah taking 10 mins to hit 87 in the highway in eco was probably mind numbing lol. Car runs on premium has a 6 cylinder turbo is fairly heavy and here we are on an enthusiast forum talking about mpgs. I guess I just don't get it.

Yeah I was surprised to see that it is more matte than than the car, it does have some glossier parts like on the ends plates of the “arches” but overall does give off a grayish matte appearance like you said.
