One of my favorite Zep songs, followed by some Sabbath. What a treat to show up at a bluegrass show and get to see this. If anybody has seen better audio of this, I would love a listen!

Actually, I can time my conversion to a fan of the Beatles to a single event -- senior prom in Manila, Philippines (all 12 of us in the graduating class!) in May of 1965. We had hired a local band and Beatlemania was rampant in the Philippines. When they did their excellent cover of "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" I was hooked!

My favorites Beatle song, though, is a cover by the Beatles of a Buddy Holly tune from the same album (kind of ironic given the brilliance of the Beatles orginial songs) and, since I am an official Komputer Klutz, I can't seem to get the song up. It's "Words of Love" with that divine Beatles harmony.

Your link doesn't work for me.

I was a fan of The Beatles when I heard/saw them on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964. Their first live performance in the U.S. I was 9yo.

Here's a favorite cover of mine. A Chuck Berry tune.

I believe that's George Martin, their producer, playing piano here.

I haven't forgotten that you would like a pic or two of Abbey Road in St Johns Wood, Esteban where the Four made their famous walk on that zebra crossing. It's just that I haven't been to that neck of the woods and as you probably know we have a car hating mayor that imposes road restrictions with cameras nearly everywhere so it's not easy just stopping there if I would be up that way.
