Oh on a 10 you can easily go for a 285 if you wanted to on a 10. Not sure how the 245 would sit on the front, may have to find a 255 if you’re rocking 9er.

Very excited to see your fit though. I’ve been contemplating the Dahler springs but a 1” front and rear is heavy.. I was hoping to see some nose drop too like Dinan does to the M440 compared to the even on their M340. I want that nose a little lower to offset the hood bulge… our car weighs nearly the same at the 4, I’m wondering if those would be better, maybe less drop since slightly lighter by 1-200lbs 🤷
At this point I'm just working on what will keep me in that 1%.

19x9 ET25, 19x10 ET45. Still working on tire sizes, looks like I'm going to have to go with 245/40, and 275/35 to keep me in that 1%.

Ok guys so the test fit is complete. On the Xdrive it seems like the 19x10 was too large and was not able to clear as originally hoped.

19x9+28 is flush on all four corners on stock suspension. Wheels are wrapped in 255/35/19 PSS. Car is going to be lowered soon with possibly another test fit in the works.

Looks good! How's the front wheel to strut clearance? Any way to check how much room you have now?

Any distance shots down the front to see how much the wheels poke?

Had Michelin Pilot All Season 4 245/40/19 installed on all 4 corners today. Fitment is solid but measurements are combating. Compared to the stock 225/40/19:

245/35 lowers it about 5mm
245/40 raises it about 9mm.

I figured having a thicker sidewall and raising it is slightly better for the roads here in Colorado. Hopefully it doesn't hamper the driving dynamics too much. I'm just glad the Pirelli RFTs are off the car.

Assuming you haven't rubbed anywhere? It's certainly close, but it's not a hand grenade so you should be fine.

No rubbing so far. Looks like that spring plate is static and moves with the strut, so there's likely very little chance of contact between it and the tire - at least that's my take on it. There are people out there with way more wheel/tire/suspension fitment experience than me. I'm always open to comments. I'd have 60 days to take the tires back and ask for a set with a lower profile/sidewall.

You're correct, it's static so they dance together.

I wouldn't worry about it, but if you want to be sure go drive a crappy road and see what you feel/hear. Then take a look at the dust on the bottom of the spring plate and see if any has been rubbed off.

I was going to order 245/35, but discount tire had that size on backorder for Michelin Pilot AS4. They test fitted these 245/40 and gave me a thumbs up on fitment before putting on the rest, so I went along with it. I could always go back within 60 days and ask them to swap, but it sounds like a pain in the ass to deal with.

I couldn't stand another day on the god forsaken Pirelli RunFlats after one blew out from a pothole. Those things are ticking time bombs this time of year in Colorado. I have some high performance wheels/tires ready to go for all 4 months of actual summer weather here.

As a follow up, Pilot All Season 4 245/40/19 squared fitment on 791M has been great so far. No rubbing and great road impact absorption. Tires are a massive performance upgrade over the OEM Pirelli/Bridgestone A/S runflat tires. I would highly recommend it. I'll continue to post updates over the next few weeks. Michelin does offer a 60 day exchange/refund.
