You have to remove the front fascia to remove the oem grille, no way around it.

I was asking if they can make a grille that goes over the OEM, just like the inlets.

I see what it takes to change out the grilles and it's not something I feel comfortable doing.

Inlets arrived from iND today. Well packaged, and overall impressed with the quality and finish. There is a double layer of 3M VHB double-sided tape installed (stacked). I assume the stacked tape is to help with snug fitment.

Will have these PPF’ed and coated, and then installed.

I meant to update in this thread a while back, but I found the 3M tape coverage from INDIV very much inadequate for the job. Adding to the challenge was sticking these to freshly ceramic coated PPF film. So maybe on non-coated paint (vs coated PPF), the usual 3M they apply would be fine.

For my inlets specifically, I added another fresh layer of 3M a full 360* around the front of the inlet (going over top of what they applied), and along the back of the inlet on the top surface. I also had to IPA wipe the areas a million times to get it to actually bond.

End result is top notch though.

yes you are right. for ppf surface, it will not working😢😢😢because of ppf coating..
