Of course it will.
Not really in Italy although they have a broad, solid charging network I tested last year with my i3 over 1'700km without any problem! But BMW isn't that popular in southern countires (except most Balkan countries).
But in Mid and North Europe the iX3 will sell great, also i4, no doubt!

We had heard it before, but the confirmation that it will be RWD-only is nevertheless very disheartening. It’s going to get left in the dust by every other luxury electric SUV on the market. Not only is AWD an expected feature on anything but the lowest end model in a luxury SUV lineup, but when it comes to electric drive, it provides a huge boost in power.

I’m sure they will be able to upgrade it to AWD eventually, borrowing development from the i4. But to be this late to the game and come to market missing such an important feature represents a major misstep IMHO.

It's a not just a major mistake but a deal killer.

We will replace our current EV with an Electric SUV.

I guess it will be a Tesla Model Y if BMW isn't going to compete.

On the other hand, this bodes well for the i4. If it gets the same motor on the rear axle, the dual-motor versions could easily hit Model 3 Performance numbers.

But it does feel like BMW is a little late to the party. Though I'm hopeful that with Krüger out EV development will be accelerated.

Will the 545e only be the G30 or also the G31 (touring) in Europe?

Are there any China made models in the Canada or US? Seems like a big leap on such an important model.

Any reason why it will be on the G08? Packaging issues with the batteries? Actually honestly would like a G08 in US. The X3 is workable with a big infant seat, but the G08 would be much better to live with, without going to a X5.

I would guess so, it seems to be the same with the I4 which is said to be using the LWB version of the G2x.

Probably the IX3 base price will be high enough that BMW management thought it won't cannibalize the X5 all that much compared to a regular LWB X3...

Still planned for China production? I would guess that if Trump's 25% tariffs come in, it will be a "no go" and reassigning to Spartanburg "too hard" for 2020.

I think there's EU regulations coming up that BEVs need to have some kinda sound to warn pedestrians in cities.

I read that BMW teamed up with some well-known composer to create sounds for that, so this might be it.

CS production will have no effect on M2 Comp lifecycle. The EOP is in the top post.
Thanks for the info!

September or maybe even August. Since Spartanburg vehicles take just days for transport, by October you'll see them in all dealerships.

And I'm taking the "no manuals" position for G8x and all G22 based on the limited and inconclusive info I have right now.

Thats a bummer. I suppose there’s still the chance though.

Assuming you end up being correct, the G42 and G87 would then become the last hope for those who want a new BMW performance vehicle with a manual transmission. But, will they bother mating the B48 O1, B58, and/or S58 to an MT for a single application? It certainly seems less likely.

You'd think G87 6MT would be the most likely as it would have the highest take up rate.
