Yup hated the rear, and got the 2nd M2 from the dealership in 2016 and still have it with under 30k miles... Waiting on this one to do the switch

I really envy the CS dudes, they are the real fortunate ones; having the apex predator of the M2 lineage and one of the best looking BMW models for what I assume will be for the foreseeable future..

Who's going pay close to $80,000 for this?/ Bmw is purposely making this car look like dork in sheep's clothing? so you buy the more expensive M3 M4? Are these photos fake and purposely lead to throw people off? I believe that these photos are from last year

I’m sure that isn’t the reason. It’s just a very bad design team at BMW right now.Like who signed off on putting those two indents on the front of the G80 hood. Its just a place where water can collect.

What the grill lacks in absurdity the rear bumper makes up for

Finally somebody was willing to say it.
+1 m2 has this micro machines proportions due to the odd REAR HALF that makes it a nonstarter for me

This color isn't doing it any favors either, especially in this bad lighting. It looks like unfinished plastic or something in this color.

The 1er and 2er coupes are always "squished". This isn't new and didn't really change.

Same (mine's a '17, similar mileage).

Yeah, the color, lightning, image quality... none of it is helping. Love this shade on our quirky Veloster, not so much for a BMW.

Not gonna lie, I never got the love for the F87 rear end. It's not fugly but it's not what all the F87 fanbois make it out to be. For example

For all the hate G42/87 tail lights get, you can't tell me the F22/87 looks that much better. All bias aside, irl the G42 tail lights look better to me than the F22/87 lights.

I was one of those when I first saw pics of the G42, I was underwhelmed. I can't explain why but the G42 just isn't very photogenic but looks very good irl. Here's to hoping for the same with the G87

It would be unique if the taillight would light up the lower part as well.. as the line matches perfectly
