Odd how BMW seems to omit pictures of the front end. Me thinks they are a little gun shy or should I say G shy?

I'm really excited to see them make it but the wagon life is about to sunset for me as I can no longer afford any of the new premium wagon models. These are officially "niche" only cars here so they're over powered, over loaded and over priced.
1. Great handling 2. Practicality 3. Roof mounting bikes 4. Decent gas mileage 5. Can self service most maintenance items. Just a simple entry level sport wagon was the Goldilocks car for me.

I have grown a whole new respect for wagons ever since the RS6 Avant hit the road. There is one in my area that is british racing green, and some beautiful CCB's. Stance make it look SO tough.
The G99 is going to be exciting to see when it first comes out. I'm REALLY interested. I would strongly consider this BUT only if it is my second car. I know it's purpose is an "all in one" but something 2 doors (992) and NOT station wagon to break up the daily wagon driving would be the only way I could really stomach it. I'm sure it's going to be beautiful, but I can imagine having a station wagon could get old. My Prediction: I def see this starting around $145-150k and probably being discontinued after this generation so could be "rare" in the long run?

Yeah. I am trying to understand the idea of sitting higher up seeing more from an SUV while most of the cars on the road are SUVs in which everyone is sitting higher to see more from comfort standpoint I get it. Easier to get in and out. More room in the big ones not sure if better for city driving when parking is increasingly harder to find or have to be paid for still have to look for potholes with those 22s looks is subjective so I will leave that, minivans have much more usability for people with small kids but have a profile of an iron. They also wiek better for those who have families and can only have one vehicle. Oh well sign of times I guess and it all started from RAV 4

It would be great if they offered a "full leather plus" option with center console, sun visors, lower doors, etc., in leather.

An m5 isn't uncomfortable. I don't think it's right to say anything that rides more comfortable than the next car is more practical for a daily. How much more practical is the softest riding vehicle than the second most softest riding vehicle? I would argue it doesn't matter. If you're comfortable in a vehicle, I don't think a vehicle that rides softer is more practical. If I'm not uncomfortable, why do I need softer ride? We don't throw out every comfortable chair in the house and replace it with the most comfortable chair we can afford because it's more practical.

I mentioned class of vehicle because I assume the next m5 will be faster than the m3, thus the next m5 should also be faster than the rs6 in the wet.

The only version of a G61 I refuse to buy is one with a 4-cylinder. Just like the F31, though the F31 had other "features" that would have been frustrating to live with. |

Kids. That changes the perspective.
I’m at a point in life where I prioritize family comfort over some Nurburgring lap times and Mlite models do just fine. I’m crossing shopping X7M60i and E63s wagon. This M5 wagon would be a good mix to add if it doesn’t ride like an arse. |
