It's a given we're going to see way more of the F87 until there are as many G87 on the street (at some point, if production stats are real, the G87 should become more common).
Exactly.
On a similar note, I was thinking about this yesterday when I saw an F87 M2...there seem to be less M2s than Cayman's and various 911's where I live which is kinda surprising.

Sorry i should have clarified. I saw more F87 during the time i had mine (i bought in late 2020 and they had only been out for a year at that time) than i have in the time the G87 has been out which has roughly been a year.

For more clarity, specifically i'm talking about the M2 Competition. I'm not talking about the OG M2. I regularly saw 3-4 F87 Comps per week in the 9 months that i had mine. And this was peak COVID too where less people were driving.

I’ve only seen two other G87 M2s in person so far. The first was a pre-delivered car at the dealership that resulted in me placing my order and the second was in Raleigh on Glenwood Ave a couple weeks ago. Both were ZB.

I have only seen one G87. It was on the freeway, coming the other direction, with a BIG grass median that was at least four lanes wide. I was doing 80 and I'm assuming it was doing something similar. The only reason I noticed it was because it was ZB and two seconds later, it was gone. I'm so close to delivery now that my car might just be the first one I see in person.

I have a Zandvoort Blue Carbon Roof, a week later a Zandvoort blue one showed up in my town on an island of 150k people. So twins I guess.

I have seen 2 ZF blue G87's. One was at a car show this past summer and the thing was filthy. The exterior was dusty and full of water spots and looks like the owner had eaten fast food and left all the wrappers inside. It blew my mind. The other one is at my local dealer and I was able to test drive it. I will admit that I have seen that one a few times since I've driven by to sneak a peak when I'm bored.

I have a ZB, I've seen 2 other ZB and a BG here in Huntsville, AL. One of the reason I got mine stealth PPF'd. Wanted it to stand apart.

Ordered mine in April, picked it up in August and I still have yet to see another one on the road. I’ve literally been looking for 8 months and nothing.
