Unlike all others, both Hamilton and Russell managed to clock a sub 1m12 lap during Q2. More wind on the circuit during Q3.

Deserved pole position for the Mercedes team. I expect a strong performance by them tomorrow during the race. But of course adverse weather, accidents and bold strategies could spice up things.

No penalty for MAX

Both Mercs ran 5 km/h faster than MAX at the straight ..
The Mercedes W15 got a new revolutionary front wing !
The most striking feature of the new front wing is the removal of the 'Legality Wire'
The 'Legality Wire was responsible for the powerful Vortex called the Y250 .
The new Mercedes front wing is 'gold !

Had to watch on tape so I'm a little late

I can't believe I'm typing this but hats off to the FIA. The current rules package is providing some of the closest qualifying we have seen in ages and the number of constructors in the hunt is great. Race will be fantastic. Have to depend on tape (streaming) again but If Hulu doesn't screw me up again I should be good.
