I feel your pain, dealers just take their money and run these days, customer care and attention to detail straight out of the window.

Can’t justify extra cost for a minor hp and torque bump, £199 to trade in my old M235i tuning box and I’ll gain extra 100hp and 100nm torque… so I feel solid in my purchase.
You could see it another way as has been pointed out to me.. rather than paying £9.5k for Carbon Bucket seats you now only have to pay £4.5k

Not sure if this has already been posted, but the M2 individual colors can now be viewed in the BMW M Visualizer website: https://individual.bmw-m.com/en-US/G87-21DM-P28

True the original race pack was a tad steep especially when the carbon interior and roof came as standard, now it’s a bit fairer now it’s separate items. But if you don’t want the carbon seats we definitely got a better deal before the LCI

True, but if you didn't care for carbon roof and wanted the seats it was a big pill to swallow.

For me personally, this alleged LCI is a bit of a downgrade. I was always going to get it in ZB with a MT, so the new colors and power bump are irrelevant to my eventual order.

I’m sure I’ll appreciate the updated iDrive, but is really something i could care less about on the front end. I drive a single hump E92 and would still buy a M2 if the tech hadn’t changed at all.

However, taking away those beautiful stainless steel exhaust tips and congac interior = Massive sadness. I love all red seats, but the black with red highlights are a little boy racer for my tastes.

An honest question, why do so many around here get so "OMG" for "LCIs"? The car has been out for 2 years, I don't get it? Every vehicle I've ever owned has had little updates from model year to model year, but for BMWs it appears people are constantly waiting for updates like it'll be the second coming of Christ. I just don't understand all the giddy school girl-ness over a new wheel finish, new steering wheel, and new color emblems? And that people are calling it a facelift?

OMG is yours an "LCI", mine's an "LCI". Are you going to wait for the "LCI", ooh I can't wait for the "LCI". I'm obviously missing something I'm supposed to be conditioned to think/feel

<— Remains happy as a clam with my ‘24. The only upgrade is the steering wheel which I can choose to upgrade if I care.

No 2023/2024 owners should have any FOMO with these MY2025 tweaks. But for new buyers/orders, it’s a no-brainer to go 2025. Or, pick up a 2024 if there’s a material discount or finance/lease incentives being offered.

I wouldn’t care if I wasn’t in the market.

I had made the decision to order an M2 back in November, shortly thereafter the rumors for MY25 updates started circling, so I chose to wait a few extra months because why not?

So for me it’s not so much excitement over the changes, but excitement over the car in general since I’m buying one. I think it’s pretty typical to get excited when you’re buying a new sports car.

930M wheels, new steering wheel, & the new color options are huge IMHO.

This. I’m in the market to buy a g87 and would still take a MY24 if there is significant discounts. But at retail it’s a no brainer to opt for the MY25.

Wouldnt be a bad idea. Last time they offered something like this it was around $1,500 and it added 20hp and 45 lbs torque. Took about 5 min for the flash it’s easy money for them.

It’s not an LCI, that will most likely come in a year or two.

Could you post a BMW document indicating that? I wouldn’t take the word of a dealer as being accurate. If you have that doc, it would be the first that indicates an LCI model vs just year-to-year changes.

The power gains are so negligible you probably won’t notice a difference in everyday driving. Also, if anyone wants a different color wrap your car, you’re welcome.
I also think people are missing the big fact that the 2025 will no doubt be quieter too. Every year the exhaust sound gets more muted and will continue to do so.

They won’t be retail at launch, stealerships will mark them up as usual. If you can get a deal on a 24 that’s a no brainer it’s literally the same car these minor upgrades aren’t worth paying more.

Nah, most dealers won't be pulling ADM nonsense on MY25s. My 2-3 I work with certainly won't. They all said that was a Covid thing and 1 said they'll probably ADM the CS in 2026.
