By my estimates, 3 weeks (RFT weeks of Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 8) worth of cars made the Sunrise in Veracruz. And then a smaller amount made the Sunrise or Condor in Altamira (RFT weeks of Oct 15, Oct 22)

I'm not sure where the cutoff was in terms of RFT and making a ship. Do we know who had the latest RFT and made a ship?

Assuming Veracruz holds 3 weeks worth of cars, it seems likely that the late Oct and first couple of weeks of November cars will get sent to Veracruz and await a ship there, with the remaining spilling over into Altamira (if history repeats)

Unfortunately, that's what I'm afraid happened. I just missed the boat by 1 week. It would be a Christmas miracle if it somehow is on a boat but just not updated. I'm preparing myself to receive my car in late December/early January at this point.

Late to the discussion.....but...I looked at the Brunswick schedule and I think the Leader sneaked into berth 2, so the Sunrise is waiting for it to leave before it can berth. Is that not what is happening? (how did the Cardinal enter the discussion ? - you guys are giving me minor strokes )

That's not correct - Leader is in transit. Looked to be about where the Sunrise was yesterday. And it is scheduled at the same time same berth as Sunrise tomorrow. Something is amiss. again.

I am surprised we're getting delays at Brunswick. I at least can't take delivery until Monday, but I really hope the delay doesn't push delivery past Thanksgiving at this point. Luckily I'm in Florida but I feel for all you winter folks.

This is what happened to a bunch of us with week 39 builds (last week of Sept). The last ship to leave Veracruz was the Cardinal on Sept 24. Then we sat in Veracruz until the Sunrise picked us up.

Then the Cardinal came back down in mid/late Oct and stopped in Altamira, picking up a handful of week 41/42 cars, but never went to Veracruz again.

If you get it at Christmas, then at least it will be a December to Remember

I have accepted the fact that I won’t be taking delivery until at least next week. I just don’t want it pushed into another week. I’m pretty sure my dealer has another car on 1 of these ships because they listed an M340 in transit on their website around the same time when I went in transit on the sunrise so they might be motivated to pick up at the earliest convenience in NJ

Yeah seems like I'm in the same boat (no pun intended). Hopefully, I'm in Altamira and a boat will arrive soon. If it's in Veracruz I may have a lower chance of getting a boat.

I’m just gonna assume sunrise will dock in Brunswick tomorrow and also leave tomorrow. In that case, I would think it’ll arrive in Baltimore Friday. And then hopefully everyone with their cars in Baltimore gets on trucks very quickly and we’ll have our cars sometime next week.

I'm just going to assume that for whatever reason this voyage is cursed and Sunrise will drift until at least 18:00 tomorrow whenever the Leader leaves. Maybe I'll be able to take delivery by mid-December.

Edit: if you can't tell I've given up on HALE. This is too much of a mess to have high aspirations for anything.

Yeah I'm in the same state of mind. My CA finally called me this afternoon to give me an update (after over a month) just stating that "my car is in transit to the VPC" and that "it might take a couple of weeks to get to the dealership". No mention of the ship its on or any of that. I feel like he is only given limited data that he can tell me. I've learned to not ask any questions as it doesn't lead to any answers simply because he just doesn't know.

I still want to know how they plan to get the Leader and the Sunrise in the same berth. It would make no sense for the Leader to jump the waiting Sunrise.
