Saw them in 1970 (yes I'm that old) before they had really gotten popular in the US. Didn't really go to see them (were the opening act) but was absolutely gobsmacked by how good they were.

They were always a favorite of mine. Still are.

PS - owned this album when I was a kid. No idea where it is now, like so many of my records.

Ian Anderson was/is a great showman and frontman for Jethro Tull. Hell, He IS Jethro Tull. They never would've existed without him. His rock 'n' roll flute is second to none.
