I called the Genius line this afternoon. She told me the car was updated to "In transit to the port" on 6/6. She estimated the status should update to "At the Port" within the next couple days. Our 3 cars are probably on the same train.

Nice! So your status online still says ready for transport correct? For some reason when I call it never works. I'll email genius and confirm my status. Thanks man!

I'm rolling with you guys. Been "in transit to port" since 6/2 (still in "ready for transport" on my garage). I asked genius today how long does that trip typically take to the port and she told me "usually only a couple days which means the truck may have broken down, but your car is safe" Not sure if they are just making stuff up now

Now what's interesting is there is a 228 GC coming to our dealership that finished production today (6/9), and is already been accepted at port and is awaiting a vessel. I am not sure how they are transporting these vehicles, part of me wants to believe our cars "in transport" are already at the Veracruz port and are just waiting to be checked in or something. It does make me hopeful that there are a bunch of us in 165 status right now, makes me think we're all just waiting to jump on the next boats that pull into port. I just wanna have my car by the 4th of July man... |

My production date moved out one day to tomorrow. I went to QC when I checked around 1PM and been there. I really hoping it gets through these last stages quick enough to catch whatever boat is coming or whatever. Im up the east coast in CT so it probably docks to NYC somewhere.

I'm told my car starts build in week 26, the last week of June. That is the last week for 2022s. I was told '23 production starts in July.
It's been 3 months since I placed my "first" order. I'd still be waiting for an allocation but one of the dealers I called initially called me back as they had a late cancellation on an existing allocation. I already had my spec in mind so I was able to acquire the build slot, provide my spec and have confirmation all within a couple of hours. I think it takes either a huge amount of patience or a stroke of luck to get a car, with very few possibilities in between. |

Also stuck at "Ready for Transport" since 6/3. Genius also confirmed the car is on its way to the port.
Meanwhile we ordered an allocated X3 on 5/13, later got a 6/13 production date. In the time my M240i has taken to go from factory to port, her X3 entered the assembly line early and was built by 6/7, left the factory on a truck this morning (6/9) and the tracker indicated it was at the dealership before lunchtime. |

I am still "At port". Would be great for car to arrive early. I'd like to pick it up on my day off Tuesday.

I took off Tuesday based on what my SA had said but if its ready earlier ill be there first thing. Your build was my second choice so I look forward to comparing colors and your cooling package vs my non cooling package (brakes in particular)
