On a serious note: this freak-accident happened two months ago over here. 25 yr-old football player (national competition) speeding with his Mercedes AMG on a 90 km/h road. He violently crashed into a roundabout and got catapulted into a sports center. Girls were training inside, but luckily had left the field just a couple of seconds before the impact. Driver incurred injuries. 1.6 promille alcohol because of "5 gin tonics" (max allowed for driving is 0.5 promille).

I just saw this in the news. It looks like the flat bed was in the travel lane with the bed up. You would think there should have been a police car with sirens going a bit behind him, no? I am not defending the driver, she was flying before she went airborne. She should have seen it...

There were police on the scene for another accident. She may have been rubbernecking and didn't see the truck she jumped. Or maybe she had her head in her phone. Only she knows for sure.
