No, never official but since Valve refuses to release a real HL3 some people may think so.
But for the most players Alyx isnt part 3 as less as the Red Alert Universe isnt part of the command&conquer trilogie

Just out of curiosity, I have a new monitor and had set now all possible graphics options at COD MW/WZ to max, so see how it performes.
The result was, that the game crashed at certain points of games, no matter if I had joined the running round or just loaded the shaders. After re start and just changing the resolution to 1920x1080 the game runs stable w/o further issues. Hence my gaming rig is able to run games at ultra settings (BF, Divison2, CP2077...) Im wondering what was went wrong.

Holy hell, the latest update of Hunt: Showdown introduced so much more AI that the "Sneeki Breeki" play style is null. WTF!? Is this even fun anymore!?

Completed both God of War and Halo Infinite in the last couple of week. My commments on GOW are above already.

Also Dyeing Light based of a review from one of you dudes. Nier Automata is on my list too and a vr title - Wanderer Going to be a good month or two |

Got bored with Halo Infinite. There's nothing left to do. lol.
Just finished all the expansions in Dying Light. Now I see my processor is no good for Dying Light 2 on my 2 year old gaming laptop. |

I mostly play BeamNG, which is a physics-based car driving simulator. And I have most fun in it when escaping from the cops on Italy map (it takes me about 10-15 full minutes on Fastello road to complete the full loop and escape to the airport landing strip, which is devoid of said cops).
The destruction physics is next-level in this "game", because I have seen actual rally-car damage footage on Youtube and the game mirrors it exactly. It is quite uncanny. All the major panels are accurately modelled in their various stages of destruction, so is the frame, the suspension and the drivetrain. And it is all inter-connected and producing actual forces acting upon the road through each tire, like in a real car. So unlike other games, where wheel movement is just a fake animation, in BeamNG the same wheels generate accurately modelled physical forces resulting in propulsion. |

Lol I’ve never tried Dark Souls or Deep Rock Galactic, but will probably give it a try once I can find it for $30, at least then I’ll be able to re-sell right away if I try it for a few hours and don’t like it

The open world is better than Skyrim, the rest isn't really like it combat and story/quest wise, it's also much harder with no difficulty options. It's frustrating, with patience and learning from mistakes is super rewarding. |

Elden Ring is amazing; I've totally fallen in love with this game. I've never played a souls game prior to this, so no idea how it compares; but I love Skyrim and Fallout and this seems pretty on par for the open world and combat.
The storyline is there, but not "required" to move forward so much, so you can do that as quick or slow as you want. the world is pretty much there to explore however you want otherwise which is nice. I will say there is hardly any guidance at all so that can be a little frustrating at times. Google has become my best friend at a few points while playing, but overall it is a gorgeous world. I will say the messaging system is pretty cool. Nothing better than walking up into a cave and having a message from some other player saying "it's a trap, look left" It takes a little getting used to, but I've found it easy enough to use or ignore depending on my mood. |

Just be prepared to see the 'You Died' screen a lot. Almost 95 hours in and there is still much to explore, bosses to kill, story to progress. I would consider it more accessible than Dark Souls if one hasn't played a Souls game before. Quote:
Definitely found looking up a few things through my travels. Messaging was like this in the other games, rather helpful. 'It's a trap' |
