I'll be honest, initially I had the impression that there was no chance I order this car without buckets. However, after seeing the price, which I do think is VERY reasonable, I am strongly considering the sport seats. They look like the f8x comp seats without the slits and they still have the M design. And honestly, if I go this route I might even go TR over cognac instead of TR over black. Anyways. My TR 6MT spec places me about $68-69k on my estimation from the previous US-posted order sheets. If that's the case, then that's a very very tempting price. Leaves more than enough room for ordering the CF air intakes which I think are a must, exhaust, PPF, ceramic coat etc. Long story short, anyone else strongly considering buckets previously but having a hard time justifying? This is mainly my weekend/stress reliever/drive to shows/trips vehicle. Not a daily or track car

That being said, I'm not tracking or anything either so m sports are prob better anyway. Has anyone heard anything about the 360 degree camera being an option? Trying to push that option through to my order. |

Guys, the 360 degree was physically not possible on the new M2 because of how wide the back is. Afaik it won't be coming to the M2. They didn't want to do a 270 degree camera and therefore decided to can it.

Is that what some SA told you? Don't believe them, it's offered on the M3/4 which are just as wide as the M2. Nothing more than cost cutting. I'll bet they offer it once the M2c comes out or for LCI.

Red interior on M4 is gorgeous. It's amazing how many things they could have done and didn't. But I'd rather have the engine than the red interior . I think slamming it into the M2 is what keeps all the other obvious things people would like from encroaching on its space.

That's what I got told here in AU by someone who went to Motorclassica and asked the question. We are getting most options as full fitted standards here (carbon seats/package being the exception) so it makes no sense to leave out the 360 when I have it on my 3 series. PR speak is that at this stage they didn't want to spend the RnD on trying to get it fitted on the M2 and the technology in its current form was unusable on the car. You are spot on regarding the M3 width so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a cost related tactic, but I did ask the question. Time will tell.

This isn’t an M5. I’m glad this car doesn’t come with park assist package. Same guys complaining about price and weight want all these unnecessary options.
