This is the 'String Section' of the Brklyn Phil. Orchestra, giving a 'Pop-up' performance in front of the Brklyn Museum.
It was great to hear them, & they played very well!

I'm in Curaçao. Flight to Bonaire got canceled...so changed my plans last minute. Pretty strict rules to get here and come home.

We really liked curacao so hope you enjoy your trip! If you are just relaxing one day, Klein curacao is decent boat ride and clear waters. I don't recall it being interesting for diving but not sure

It was a good day because the Atlanta Hawks finally made the playoffs and won their first game against the Knicks with a raucous MSG crowd (which is cool due to fans finally being allowed to attend). It was the first playoff game for Trae Young who lit them up.

It's more of if you are planning a beach day type event, there is a lighthouse or something that we got to walk up, shipwreck on the other side of island, but otherwise nothing to do except swim in clear waters drink and relax. We took the catamaran over.

If it can be done by Zoom in less than 3 hours, the consulting rate may be as cheap as a trip to In-N-Out (which I have never eaten), some dry ice, and shipping a package to the east coast overnight.....

I told them they need an additional $8k minimum to equip said laptops with software. Not sure who's budget that comes from . . .

On the whole cold shipment thingy, I'd rather you not eat from I-n-O. Have you seen the lines????? It might be close to the same zoom time limit.

...because I finally dumped my evil home telephone service after 17 long years! It started out as a $14.99/month unlimited phone, and morphed into a $47.10/month money pit. I refuse to give my personal cell phone number out to anyone but relatives, so that home phone number is tied to every bill, doctor, and anyone else who needs to reach me.

Every attempt to port my number out of said small evil telco over the years was blocked by alleged bad/missing data on the transfer request form. Their number-porting department is apparently a telephone extension with no phone plugged into it, since it rings forever with no answer or voicemail. Long story short, someone who works in the phone business doing number ports for a living shared the secret to getting the small evil telco to release your number for porting in an online forum. I gave it a shot last week for the heck of it...and the port-out succeeded today just before lunch!

Anyway, my home phone bill went from $47.10 to *zero* today...and I still have free use of my home phone number.....
