More new 2023 BMW M2 G87 leaked look from another angle

Creativity of todays has gone down the drain… The previous Gen M2 and M3 will go down as one of the best looking and current Gen's as one of the ugliest (I own a G80, but bought it for driving dynamics not looks).

But man, this M2 makes me feel better about owning a G80.

I have a personal fondness for thte strength and solidity of separating the kidneys and submerging them into the facia. This really works for me using the lip as well where the kidneys meet to separate them from the badge groove...

Jesus, between Bimmerpost and the rest of the internet, the world is not being kind to this design.

It's such a shame, BMW used to make amazing performing cars and they were aesthetically pleasing.

A design shouldn't have to grow on you.

I think it's the angle... the headlight is recessed, and the camera black square in upper corner of left box air intake breaks line of edge

That's true and the Comp is fine, I wouldn't kick one out of bed but the CS' combination of bespoke aesthetics looks so sleek and purposeful, IMHO.

The CS is more than an engine tune. It also has completely different chassis tuning and M adaptive dampers.

Yes I know what it is but it's not much different . The suspension is not something a set of good coilovers can't beat. It's the same motor / same body / almost the same car .

That fist pic looks better because the taillights in it are wider. For the life of me I don't know why the G42/87 have single headlight projectors instead of the normal dual ones or why they made the taillights so small.

interesting how the camouflaged the recession of the rear diffuser... going to be a unique rear look recessing the center perhaps... I'm guessing that's why the riveted cladding?

Not sure what direct view angle of the rear of the G87 is going to save the design.Only a view incorporating the side of the vehicle is going to hopefully improve the look of the car.

The F87 looks good in any pic of the rear IMO.
