My car has been stuck in "final assembly" for over 1 week is this normal? "I have the carbon buckets and hope it is not holding things up. The next step is "ready for transport" if it ever gets out of "final assembly".

Normal is hard to say, fairly small sample size thus far. Several of us, as you’ll see if you look back through our timelines, experienced stays in Quality Check and/or Final Assembly for longer than a week. Don’t fret, the wheels haven’t come off, they’re likely just tighten them. It’ll progress on to RFT within a week, more likely a day or two, then the real waiting begins.

The wait is killing me. I am sure I set the record for the most logins to 'My Garage" to check status.

I live in So Cal (Los Angeles) so hopefully the transport will be fast once it gets onto a ship. I was told it would be an end of July delivery but am not sure that is realistic. I already sold my G42 m240 to make room.

I hear you, we’ve all been there. Shit, I’m still there. My car is somewhere between Brunswick and NYC but still don’t have an ETA besides last Saturday.

West Coast is definitely a shorter wait all things being equal.

Finally saw some movement this week with mine,a week 25 build, now in quality check. Initial estimates for delivery were 90 days from allocation, which seems unlikely as that would be the end of July. Based on what I am reading in these threads, looks like 60 days from now is better estimate?

You deserve a reward of some sort for that patience. Also , your timeline scares the eff out of me lol. If I apply it to mine, i’ll be sitting here for an August delivery… dang man pure torture especially considering my dates were so similar to Hypori, and I knows he’s a lot closer than delivery than me.

I must deserve one too. My buddy and I had week 16 and 17 builds, same exact specs. He's had his car for a month, and mine is still in 'final assembly'.

Wow. How long have you been at final assembly now? That seems uncommon even with all the extended delays.

Mine has been sitting at the VPC for a few days now. Hoping that it gets here within a week. It only takes about 10 hours for a truck to get from the VPC to my dealership. Heck, I wish I could just go to the VPC and drive it back home from there. Sad that there's no performance center delivery in California.

That’s awesome man, very happy that you’re timeline worked out the way it did! Ideal scenario! That final assembly stay effed me over by like 6~8 weeks (best guess)!

It could be worse - I was a week 18 build and am now sitting at status 105 with no production week!

Only a few days, I got my allocation and shortly after the build was delayed until week 25 because of carbon bucket shortage.

My transit time is likely less, I hope. You've got to worry about hurricane season in the Gulf!
