Yeah in August i was told they weren’t available. If you truly want them, just hold strong. It’s worth the wait. My CA told me 3 people stopped and pulled over off of the road during the unloading to check out the vehicle which is pretty cool

Yeah the buckets are honestly a big reason i want the car. Like i have the M4 right now but its honestly just because i needed a car and was curious what the big brother version was like and if i'd like it more. After some time with the M4 i think i just really like the M2 better for its size. I'll hold strong though, it sounds like its totally worth it and i cant wait.

Congrats!! The car looks great with the HAS kit drop. The last 2 people on here that have gotten their cars won the tire lottery. Maybe all of this batch of cars has the Michelins? Hoping that is the case.

There was a black and white on that came in with mine and they both won the tire lottery also!!! From what I have seen in person and on here the M2's they have been winning the tire lottery.

Hmm. I wonder if that's the same for midwest cars? Someone in MN posted on a different thread here they just picked up a white M2 this weekend from a local dealer near me and the car came with the Pirellis. I should know in the next couple days what my car has.

I totally drove through my dealership's lot yesterday seeing if I could find my M2 that changed to "at the dealership" status on Saturday. I did not see the car assuming it must have been inside, or maybe they have an alternate site that does the pre delivery inspection work.

I really hope my CA is working today and can give me an update. We have a tentative appt scheduled for this Thursday to get the car but that was setup based on the CA thinking the car would get there today or Tuesday.

I have to admit this is the hardest part of the wait.....the last couple days before getting the car.

Nope I'm 100% with you on that. They may have it in the back lot of your dealership for the PDI when you wnet by. I know thats where mine was and my CA took me back to see it before it went through the PDI. It will be getting dropped off today for PPF and Tint.

I'm in the same boat, arrived at the dealership on Sunday. I was hoping to feel they would prioritize prep given the wait but it's looking like business as usual. "It'll be ready when it's ready" is what I'm getting from my CA.

Jeez, isn't this wait the worst?? I texted a photo of the "at the dealership" status to my CA about 30 minutes ago. He called me and said he had no idea the car was actually there until he saw my text. He thinks his team will have it ready late this afternoon for pickup.

There is no way I would have. He wasn't expecting to see the car until late today or tomorrow at the earliest. Since the text he has engaged the prep teams and got them working on it. He said they typically see cars take 4 to 5 days to get there from Baltimore; my car took 2 days so a big surprise. I feel grateful to be working with this guy. From helping me get an allocation until today he has been exceptional.

Thats awesome. I honestly wish my CA was a bit more responsive. And i mean i kinda get why she isnt. The car is still just waiting in line to be produced and it wont even enter production at this point until the bucket seats become available so there really isnt much for her to tell me. But i still would like a response to my questions in a quick and timely manner. Excited for you to get your car. Post pics here once you do!

This is honestly not so bad; a bit odd that he didn't know car was there already but pretty responsive to arrange for delivery the same day at least.

I truly believe he didn't know because he wasn't expecting it so soon. I think he pulled some strings to get it ready today since he has tomorrow off and wants to be there when I pick it up. Heading there in a couple hours. They weren't able to squeeze in an appt with service to put my all season tires on but that's fine since it is warmer and the roads are clean today.

Hopefully you hear back soon. These places do know they cannot recognize the revenue until they actually sell a car, right??

I do and that is why I been waiting since March. My allocation was delayed cause of the cf add on (at least that was the excuse).
