Waiting for your substantiation of “many” and “inferior”.
Second request.
Thank you.

I'm just telling everybody I PPF'd my car & wheels in this new look called "dusty matte". I'll say it costs $7000 to do the entire car & it will be all the rage in no time.

I'm just going to downshift and engine brake to stop the car to avoid the OEM pad dust. I think I will be fine.......I might do some different pads next year. Right now not paying money to replace nearly brand new pads feels better than dealing with the dust.

Well I'm going to repeat what has already been said... because it's worth saying again.

These 1500s are amazing in the amount of dust reduction! I was cleaning my wheels every other drive even just to run errands around town.

The OEM pad dust was surprisingly stubborn to remove even on ceramic coated wheels.

I cleaned my wheels for the first time today in over a week (and they really didn't need it lol) and the 1500 dust rinsed right off leaving very little to soap off. In the past my bucket was full of dirty water and now it was just slightly cloudy.

As for stopping power, a much more linear feel and they stop just fine for spirited street driving.

Well worth the investment 👍

I'm switching to these as soon as I get my M2. The dusting on my G80 is bonkers. I don't want to deal with it anymore.

I spent more time cleaning the wheels than the actual car.

That’s either a terrific sense of humor or one of this thread’s dumbest posts.

Perhaps the dumbest.

I'm just being silly. My silliness is a cover for my annoyance that I have to swap out brake pads on a brand new car if I want to avoid the dust.

I'm sure I've said some dumb stuff on here before but in this case I was being sarcastic.

I share this same annoyance. I have already "costed it in" to the total purchase price to make myself feel better, lol.

I've got about $4,000 worth of day-one must-dos in order to even drive the car. PPF, Ceramic, brake pads etc.

I hear ya. My spend is at $4500 since I've taken delivery on the car this January. All season tires, PPF, window tint, and wheel spacers. I think I will hold off an any other stuff (including pads) until next year.

Thought so. You took this member by surprise.
It was totally out of character with your reliably common sense thoughts.
Easy on that clutch.

I appreciate the level on enthusiasm on this thread for spending $700 on brake pads. I just don't clean my wheels.

Be a non-issue

We need more 2000 pad users to weigh in on their experience.

OR

Somebody (vendor?) could do a very detailed back to back to back review between the 3 pads - stock/1500/2000

Girodisc will be releasing their revamped/improved version of their Magic Pads (from what I know, the will not use this name on the new pads) soon...these will be the pads to use.

Hopefully they won’t be $1,200 per set!
