I'm just telling everybody I PPF'd my car & wheels in this new look called "dusty matte". I'll say it costs $7000 to do the entire car & it will be all the rage in no time.

I'm just going to downshift and engine brake to stop the car to avoid the OEM pad dust. I think I will be fine.......I might do some different pads next year. Right now not paying money to replace nearly brand new pads feels better than dealing with the dust.

Well I'm going to repeat what has already been said... because it's worth saying again.
These 1500s are amazing in the amount of dust reduction! I was cleaning my wheels every other drive even just to run errands around town. The OEM pad dust was surprisingly stubborn to remove even on ceramic coated wheels. I cleaned my wheels for the first time today in over a week (and they really didn't need it lol) and the 1500 dust rinsed right off leaving very little to soap off. In the past my bucket was full of dirty water and now it was just slightly cloudy. As for stopping power, a much more linear feel and they stop just fine for spirited street driving. Well worth the investment 👍

I spent more time cleaning the wheels than the actual car.

I'm just being silly. My silliness is a cover for my annoyance that I have to swap out brake pads on a brand new car if I want to avoid the dust.

I'm sure I've said some dumb stuff on here before but in this case I was being sarcastic.

I've got about $4,000 worth of day-one must-dos in order to even drive the car. PPF, Ceramic, brake pads etc.

I hear ya. My spend is at $4500 since I've taken delivery on the car this January. All season tires, PPF, window tint, and wheel spacers. I think I will hold off an any other stuff (including pads) until next year.

I appreciate the level on enthusiasm on this thread for spending $700 on brake pads. I just don't clean my wheels.

Hopefully they won’t be $1,200 per set!
