Actually, I believe it’ll be the other way around. These will be super popular and the nice normal colors will be more rare.

At this point he's just beating a dead horse. Either accept reality or move on and get something else. When I was considering MY24 vehicles, I was fully prepared to accept a color that wasn't my first choice, provided I can get a deal. it's just a color and as long as it wasn't my least favorite, what's the big deal? For context you can't do custom orders where I'm at so you just have to pick from what the dealers have on stock each month if you wanted the car. and if it really bothered me that much I would have moved on from the G87.

Starting to wonder if him and the multi patent engineer from the other thread are the same guy.

We’ve only had one person order Toronto red, one frozen portimao, maybe two zandvoort blue, and the rest black, white or Brooklyn grey.

Maybe if you live in south Florida where bright colors are generally more popular, then the statistics would be different.

Voodoo reminds me Porsche's Shark blue. It's a nice shade of light blue, but it seems to be a prevalent color with multiple manufacturers these days. Twilight looks really nice, but I prefer the deep purple represented by Thundernight (TN).

I would be all over Java in a heartbeat. I have Valencia orange and TN already in the stable with a Space grey 328iT being the neutralizer.

So, I obviously do not shy away from bold, vibrant colors.

Yeah, you're going to stand out more especially with the constabulary elements, but that causes you to temper yourself, and use good discernment to avoid any issues.

Don't know at the moment if I am willing to substitute TN for JG, but I'm not in the market at the moment, so I can kick the can for a couple more years.

I'd like to know what goes into color choices for manufactures. No doubt some sick colors but there are colors that if available people would flock to yet they never make an appearance. BRG, Fashion grey, dakar yellow, fire orange, hellrot, SMB. Seems like it would be an easy sell, I know a few people who dont like the look of the g87 but given the option for these better colors would probably buy one.

I didn't order a car until I could see the new colors for MY25.

I'm not hating on folks that want white, black or grey; it's just not my cup of tea.

I don't like the interior options but I realize they aren't doing individual interior for any market so I understand if I want a car, I can have any interior as long as it's black. Very much like Henry Ford.

So I figure my Twilight Purple M2 with carbon package and 6 speed won't be as rare as my i4 M50 in Tanzanite II with full merino tartufo interior, but it will be unusual.

And I have sat in the cabon buckets. I think I'll live. It's easier to swap a pair of carbon buckets for something else vs wanting carbon buckets later.

if java green was a option when I ordered I would've had to think long and hard about it, still so thankful the frozen portimao popped up a couple weeks before I got locked into a build because the options before that were kind of bleak(for me), was having to choose between a bunch of "meh" options then BMW gave me a out with one I actually love. People ordering '25 are spoiled for options
